History

2127 - 2132

March 26th, 2127: Deliah Hayashi is born to Daichi and Beniha Hayashi, born in the town of Niseko in the Hokkaido prefecture.

September 2127: A new hospital is built in Niseko, a smaller one funded by Dr. Daruma Ujiko. Beniha transfers her position in the older hospital to this one, becoming acquainted with the lead doctor himself, quickly proving herself to be more than capable.

July 2128: Daichi is offered a work from home position at Detnerat given his prior work in the field; a job which he gladly takes up, providing coding and ideas to the company for quality of life items.

November 2129: After being offered a position at Detnerat's main office, Daichi, Beniha and Deliah all move to Hammatsu City. During the move, at a rest stop at a bakery in Shizuoka, Deliah meets a young blonde girl a year older than her named Mika Daisuke. The two click and decide to call one another every so often.

April 2130: Deliah officially finds herself, allowing her to be who she really is.

September 2131: Daichi finds evidence of Detnerat's connection to the Meta Liberation Army in company files. As such, he does everything he can in order to leave and get his family to safety, telling them of the dangers of Detnerat as he does so, Beniha believing that he is crazy while Deliah believes her father through it all.

October 2131: Without warning in the midst of his plans, Daichi finds himself fired by Detnerat. Seeing this as a warning, he takes his family and flees to the Shizuoka Prefecture.

November 2131: The family settles into a small house in Musutafu in the Shizuoka Prefecture. Daichi struggles to find work, the state of his former employment and what he discovered causing him to go on a downhill path. Meanwhile, Beniha gets a job at a local hospital.

April 2132: With Daichi going downhill and Beniha finding herself busier than usual, something which confuses Deliah, the young girl is entered into Shoreline Elementary. Arriving there, she finds that Mika is in her class, delighting the young one! Deliah, being the youngest of her class by a year is rather shy, though because of Mika's enthusiastic nature, the two are able to meet a young boy who also appears to be from another region; Victor Arlington. The three friends immediately click, becoming quite close both in school and out of school.

July 2132: During Summer Break, Mika invites Deliah and Victor along for an expedition near the playground of a city that has a focus on nature. Hesitantly, Deliah comes along (as does Victor). The trio find themselves venturing further into a small dug out section of ground in the side of a hill, Mika poking around to try and see if she can find anything while Victor watches over them. Deliah accidentally trips, the sudden fall causing dirt to pile down on top of the three. In a panic, Deliah's quirk awakens, lifting the mound of dirt off them all, though she appears to be in a good bit of pain afterwards, her motions unsteady as if she was one step away from passing out. Arriving at the hospital to be checked out, Deliah finds out that her quirk is called "Sixth Sense" and was activated by the distress she felt in the situation, being a sort of late bloomer at the age of 5.

October 17th 2132: Daichi's past finally catches up with him. After an argument which Beniha started, he leaves the house in a rage. Tragedy strikes as he soon after is caught up in a Villain Attack by the docks that had mysteriously begun with no clear motive, Deliah having run after him to try and get him to come back-- all to no avail.

October 24th 2132: Daichi's funeral is held. Despite his faults and rage that he seemed to have, she holds no ill will towards him, only wishing that he could still be here. Deliah remembers the warning her father gave her about Detnerat and has to wonder if they are connected, spiking an anger towards the company that she already had brewing.

TRIGGER WARNING AHEAD: MENTIONS OF ABUSE, DEPRESSION AND SUCH DARK TOPICS WILL FOLLOW.

November 2132: Shadows still hang above Deliah's head in the form of her mother, the woman having begun to snap due to the stress of bills, raising a child alone and above all else... How Deliah looks exactly like the man who always seemed crazy, the memory driving her to a point of no return, causing Deliah immense pain for years to come. Beniha has also quit her job due to a suffering mental state, having her and Deliah's lives to be funded under government aid, the government taking pity on them following the demise of Daichi Hayashi.

December 2132: Before Winter Break, Deliah becomes more closed off to Mika and Victor (as well as everyone else). She had been shy before, but never to this extent. Some days she seems to avoid them, on others she seems to be absent from school in general. Being young, they aren't able to figure out what's going on, merely figuring that Deliah felt weird being the youngest of the class... though, the parents of Mika do show concern to this new behaviour.

2133 - 2137

April 2133: The start of the second school year, Deliah seemingly tracking behind when it comes to work. Previously, she used to be shy and never late, only having missed a few days in the first half of the first year due to anxiety followed by the end with her father's demise. Now, her attendance and work ethic become quite minimal, often missing at minimum 2 days of school per week, something that only gets noticed by Mika and Victor, Deliah having no real excuse.

March 2134: In the late hours of night, Deliah ends up the victim to another one of her mother's attacks, resulting in a broken arm. Upon being questioned by friends (Mika and Victor) alongside teachers, Deliah goes for the answer she was told to go for-- "I fell off the monkey bars."

May 2134: Deliah's arm has fully healed up following the incident almost two months prior. Despite all that, the damage behind the walls of home continue to occur, though due to Beniha taking up drinking more often, she typically ends up falling asleep, forgetting about Deliah long enough for the youth to do so as well.

June 2134: Summer break emerges once again, Mika taking this chance to bring Deliah out on a walk to the school near sunset; just the two of them. Arriving there, the blonde girl gets Deliah to sit by a soccer post, the two watching the sun set, giving Deliah warmth towards the future as well as hope and a sparkling feeling within her heart.

November 2135: Mika, wanting to see Deliah get out of the house more tricks the girl into joining the hero club, knowing that her vision of heroes was shaky at times; Deliah never hated nor worshiped them, she merely acknowledged their existence. Reluctantly, Deliah agrees.

January 2136: Deliah stops showing up to the club. When Mika questions her to why she suddenly stopped, something that not even Victor had done, Deliah merely goes quiet for a moment, then hesitantly letting her know that "I don't fit in there. We can find something else to do."

March 2136: For Deliah's 9th birthday, Mika and Victor come together to surprise her, making the youth a cake to celebrate, hosting a small party at Mika's house. Everyone is there except for one person- Beniha Hayashi, Deliah saying that she had an appointment and couldn't make it.

May 2137: Mika sets her sights on Aibō Middle School, a private institute focused on training young heroes in advance for Heroic High Schools such as UA or Shiketsu High. Victor tags along, noticing that there is something set up for support students. Deliah, hesitantly, agrees to go along, mainly as she doesn't want to disappoint her friends.

2138-2139

July 2138: Despite not truly having the energy or willpower to try, Deliah does her best to study for the entrance exams alongside Mika and Victor, the three of them effectively working together, Deliah having to be the one to keep everyone focused, Mika to typically distract with snacks and treats or Victor to go completely off topic.

December 2138: The time for the placement exams arrive just before Winter Break. Deliah, Mika and Victor shoot for Aibō Middle School, each to do the best that they can.

January 2139: The test results are in, revealing that all three managed to get into the school under their desired course selections. Mika chose the "Hero Course", opting to take a class where she learns more about heroes of the past as well as safety regulations. Victor goes for "Support Course", learning the basics behind making advanced machinery and gear that can spawn a career in the support industry. Deliah, meanwhile, opts to go for the "General Course", not seeing herself as fit for either options-- and definitely not the "Business Course"!

March 2139: Deliah, Mika and Victor say goodbye to Shoreline Elementary, Mika taking Deliah and Victor on a short trip to Hammatsu City, the three seeing the sights alongside Mika's parents, the trip sparking a small hope in Deliah upon reaching the flower garden of Hammatsu. Perhaps everything would be alright...

April 2139: The trio starts their first day at Aibō Middle School. While Mika and Victor have it relatively easy, Mika managing to find new friends as well, Victor only finding one other person he could click with; Deliah finds it harder. She's still around Mika and Victor for most of the day, but when her General Studies course comes up, she finds that she almost becomes like a target to others, simply due to the fact that she had a quirk and wouldn't use it-- a problem she had faced back in Elementary as well. While Mika and Victor take some comfort in Aibō, Deliah finds herself merely wandering, trying to find herself and where she belongs in this wild school of hopes and dreams.

June 2139: Just before Summer Break, Mika manages to talk Deliah into trying out something new- trying to learn to cook. Mika had wanted to teach her for awhile but the opportunity never presented itself. That, as well as it allowed for Deliah to be watched by Mika, the blonde wondering just what could keep the brunette so down for so many years.

August 2139: During a period of two weeks under Summer Break, Deliah mysteriously goes missing. She doesn't answer anything in regards to calls or texts, seemingly having gone off the radar. Once she returns after the two weeks, she seems oddly groggy, just as if she had been sick. Deliah, however, doesn't seem to be able to remember any of what had happened, just as if those two weeks had never even happened.

September 2139: The second semester kicks in and Deliah finds herself back in the same spot, scared to speak up. The one redeeming factor is that she finds comfort in her two friends, both giving her the strength to continue on with her day to day activities. As for cooking, Deliah has only been able to truly grasp the basics, secretly already having them from since her mother had turned her back to her existence, only to be used as a source of letting out the pain and anguish of her own situation... one that Deliah couldn't even fathom.

November 2139: Deliah meets Kairi after a particularly rough evening. The two slowly bond, though Deliah is quite cold towards Kairi at first. Alongside meeting Kairi, Deliah gets a new teacher in the form of the hero "Miss Princess."

November 5th, 2139: After a particularly rough night with her mother, Deliah stumbles towards Mika's abode, not wanting to be late to the group project. Mika and Victor discover the harm that Deliah's mother puts her through, causing Mika's family to take Deliah in. Beniha goes to jail and Deliah spends a few nights in the hospital to recover after the harsh treatment.

November 14th, 2139: Upon being awoken by a nightmare which included mentions of 'failures' and 'projects', Deliah is brought into a panic attack, requiring aid from Mika and her family before she's able to even get up and go to the hospital. Deliah is diagnosed with Depression, PTSD and anxiety- she is given medication to help deal with them all and is to go see a therapist.

November 17th, 2139: Upon her first day back after an extended absence, Deliah meets Hebi, a boy who seems rather kind and energetic- another student of Aibo who is in the hero course. The two connect

November 24th, 2139: Deliah is officialy given her own room in the Daisuke household.

December 2139: The chaos of Minato kicks back into gear, alerting Deliah to be on her guard. Deliah celebrates her first true christmas with the Daisuke family, being given a Raichu plush by Kairi who she has come to see now as an older sister figure. During the latter half of the month, Deliah begins to experience an oddity with her quirk where she finds herself sticking to walls and other odd surfaces...

January 2140: Deliah awakens her second quirk, Spider. Try as she may, she's unable to find the meaning behind the quirk, though theorizes that it had something to do with the nightmare about the project and failure. As doctors haven't seen this before, they don't know what to think of it and opt to monitor her condition and how it adapts. Deliah also is gifted a kitten by Hebi's older brother, Shen. Deliah names the kitten "Dahlia." Right as she's able to start hormones and things look like they're about to go up with the new year, Minato Kamiya makes her presence known, belittling Deli. What will come of this?

Sixth Sense
"ESP"

Quirk Type: Emitter

Abilities

Sixth Sense allows the user to manipulate objects around them, creating a psychic veil to push or attract objects. This nature can even apply to the air around the user, pushing an opposing object back.

Alongside this, the user of Sixth Sense can develop other forms of ESP related abilities such as Telepathy, Retrocognition and Mediumship.

Weaknesses

Sixth Sense weighs heavily on the mind and body of the user; should a particular "psychic" outburst come out at a high density, the user will suffer a headache of varying degrees, increasing with usage of higher outputs, impacting cognitive functions.

Sixth Sense is typically best used at long range when in combat as close quarters matches will leave the user typically on the back foot, provided they can't think quick enough.

Spider

Quirk Type: Emitter

Abilities

Spider grants the user the natural abilities of spiders, such as the ability to crawl along surfaces, and of course create a substance akin to spider silk (webbing) from the micro pores that form on the user's wrist. Alongside this, Spider also enhances the user’s other traits such as strength, agility and reflexes.

Spider enhances the user's strength to that of the porportinal strength of a spider, gifting the increased mobility of leaping, dodging and running speed as well.

Weaknesses

Due to the webbing taking from the proteins that are built off the human body, overuse can cause malnourishment if pushed beyond normal capacity.

Even with increased mobility and reflexes, the user of spider can still be struck in combat if overwhelmed. Despite the pain tolerance that comes with the increased strength, if the user is untrained in how to handle said power, they can easily be overwhelmed and put down in combat.

Aibō Middle School

Aibō Middle School is a private institute located in Musutafu City, a school which is typically on par with UA on admission to school. Aibō Middle School is an institution for Middle School Students to prosper, expanding upon their current abilities whilst learning something new about themselves each day. Aibō is separated into four different courses; Hero Course, Support Course, Business Course and General Studies, each having one class that separates them from the other courses (Students from one course can be in class with students from another course EXCEPT for the designated class of the day [Hero, General, Business, Support])

Hero Course

The Hero Course is a course for students who wish to eventually become pro heroes by advancing to heroic high schools such as UA or Shiketsu (alongside plenty of other choices). In this course, students get one class per day to learn about safety regulations as well as heroes of the past and what it means to be a hero (alongside mild training of their quirks to be ready for higher education).

Support Course

The Support Course is a course for students who wish to learn how to develop support equipment that will help heroes out on the battlefield (or citizens with everyday life, should one wish to pursue a career out of such), giving them the proper basic knowledge and more to be able to shoot for UA, Shiketsu, Colleges of Support, etc. Students in this course get one class per day to learn about coding, software management, welding, robotics and so much more!

Business Course

The Business Course is a course for students who wish to learn about aspects of hero society forming around the founding and managing of hero agencies, this course being the start to building up those basic skills for those who wish to pursue higher education through colleges or UA as a few examples. Students in this course get one class per day to learn about money management, filing paperwork, basic business management and such other skills.

General Course

The General Course is a course for students who wish to pursue higher education or other pursuits. The General Course boasts a top-notch education with an incredible lineup of teachers. Typically, this course has a smaller selection of students or in cases of overflow, students from other courses may temporarily be placed in General Studies in order to let everyone get a chance at their class. Students in this course get one class per day to focus on intensive studies.
